Ras El Hanout is a spice blend from Morocco in North Africa.  Ras El Hanout can contain anywhere from 10 - 30 different ingredients.  This is a traditional spice blend used in Moroccan, Tunisian and Algerian cooking.  As you can imagine, with this many spices, the flavor is complex, warm, powerful and very distinctive.  Can be used in rice, lamb, chicken, vegetables, grilling and a nice addition to couscous.
